When using GetASFStream and similar tools, Windows Media Player may start on its own, increasing load and interrupting work. If you run FinishWMV, it watches for Media Player every second and closes it automatically.

Periodically monitors and automatically closes selected applications (windows)

AppCloser automatically closes applications (windows) you specify. Every 0.5 to 600 seconds it checks running applications and sends a Close command to any window whose title contains the configured string. Multiple instances can run, so you can monitor several applications at once.
